Is there any other programs avilable other than Myblaster to control STB with MCE remote.
I dont want to use as HIP because as I understand it this would disable the remote keyboard. Is this a correct assumption?

    Hi,

AFAIK Myblaster does not work with the HIP drivers, only with the original MCE remote/keyboard drivers from MS.

If your STB has a serial port and some command line utility to control zapping the channels on the box then maybe you can somehow use the MPExtTuneCmd plugin. If no utility is available but the serial line protocol (or any other wired control protocol) is known, you could fairly easy create an external tuner plugin yourself.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

Just reread my post and see that it was a tad confusing. I wasn't wanting to use myblaster with HIP. It is just that HIP and myblaster are the only two progs I know of which I can use to control my IR blaster to the STB. I have to use IR as no other interface available i.e serial. My blaster doesnt want to work properly as per an earlier post and even when it does work(buds flash) the STB channel does not change. Hence the request if some other alternative is available.

Cheers Scoop and keep up the good work.
