Message: <blockquote data-quote="Atreides" data-source="post: 541447" data-attributes="member: 78246"><p>Hey guys, I recently got a huge list of mame roms, and they are named in the rom name format (i.e. marvel vs capcom 2 is mvc2)  I know mamewah has the ability to change the names of the rom to the normal name (mame listxml > list.xml) and I have tried that and loaded the xml file to myemulators but this did now change the names.  As you can see I don't really know what is going on behind the scenes when running the command and all.  I know people on here use mame with my emulators and I was wondering if anyone found a way to change the mame rom names to normal names, or some other way to get the correct data and names for the roms.  I appreciate any feed back I can get on this.  Thanks</p></blockquote><p></p>
