I upgraded my MP installation from Beta to latest released RC1 and i am not able to install MyFilms 4.8.0c.
Getting below Error.

"This is an old format file. MPiInstller will be used to install it".

And when i press Ok, no other error message but i don't see MyFilms showing up anywhere in the list (Home or Plugin)
Checked Plugin configuration but it doesn't show up there as well.

Is there a way to install it manually?

Thank you.

Open myfilms with MPIinstaller (you can find it in your mediaportal dir) not with MpeInstaller

I installed with MPIinstaller and have same problem as RockJock.

MyFilms 4.8.0 compatible with MediaPortalSetup 1.1.0 RC-1 (rev25080) & Windows 7 - 64 bits ?

:D caem96,

I'm very happy to hear that.

I must done something wrong

I take file "mesfilms.dll" from MesFilms_v4.8.0c.zip and put in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\MediaPortal\plugins\Windows

In MP-configuration, when selecting My films and then click on "config", I receive following error:
Failed to loacte assembly 'TaskScheduler, Version=1.3.3304.15002,
Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.
Note that the configuration program must be executed from/reside in
the MediaPortal folder, the execution will now end.

Seems to be problem of path.
Caem96, can you tell me where you installed MP or do you have an idea about this problem?

I install works directly from www. Yes, there's "This is an old format file. MPiInstller will be used to install it", but after clicking OK to start installing (google translation :-()

I have downloaded myfilms mpi, not zip.

First time i had your problem,

"This is an old format file. MPiInstller will be used to install it".

I solved by opening the installation file of the plugin with mpistaller

I haven't put any files in the mediaportal's directory

sorry for english

Problem is solved :D

MyFilms 4.8.0 reinstalled directly through MPInstaller

caem96 was right, error probably due to the fact that I first try to use MpeInstaller.exe to install this pluggin.

:D caem96

Just for info:
when I want to configure My films pluggin from MP configuration, it gives me following error
"System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: La longueur ne peut pas être inférieure à zéro.
Nom du paramètre : length"
But if I click 'on continue' it go's on without problem (I already had the same incident with WinXP and MP 1.0.2)
