    Hi all

A new generation of MyLyrics is finally ready to be released. It contains multiple new features, lots of improvements and fixes to all known bugs. Most of the improvements is related to the configuration of the plugins where you e.g. now is able to import/export lyrics from/to music tags, browse your music database and select specific songs to search for, and edit the artist and title strings before performing the search in the 'Find lyric' dialog. Also, by default all fetched lyrics will be saved into the tag of that music file (a big "thank you" to hwahrmann for the new tagwriter!).

So, go give the new generation of MyLyrics a try! If you discover a bug, have a feature request and just want to comment on the new release, don't hesitate to post a message in the MyLyrics section of the MediaPortal forum.

    best regards

    Hello Mackey,

Thank you very much for this version of your plugin.

The music tag reader/writer is an excelleent idea.
The MPI installation and the configuration of the plugin are really good.

I don't find any bug for the moment.

    Thanks!

Can you tell me how do I install the new MPI plugins (including mylirics)?

No prob. Start the MP Configuration. Choose 'Plugins' and select the 'MPInstaller'-tab. Then choose install and locate the mpi-file you wish to install from.

Alternatively, you can use the MPInstaller tool which you can reach from the MediaPortal group by pressing the Windows Start-button, and choosing "All programs" (or what it may be named in italian).

    cheers

I'm using RC3 with the latest svn. Does the mpi installer require 2.3.0 final?

I'm just lazy to upgrade lol!
