Using a playlist that was generated with winamp and put to the "My Playlists" folder.
Steps to reproduce:
- start MP, go to MyMusic
- load a saved playlist
- now, some songs are skipped by the bass player (see error log)

These songs are easy to identify, because in the playlist they have no song length noted to the right.
It regards all songs in folders with special characters like ö,ü,ä or " ' ".

Theres an additional bug. After MP skips the song, it starts to play the next one but stops that after a few seconds and plays the next but one.

Apart from that, the songs play without any problems in interpret or folder view.

No one can confirm this one? Its kind of annyoing, and I really dont want to rename all paths to straight ASCII chars only. (hm, btw " ' " is ASCII 27, and it doesnt play either)...

Yes I can confirm this, in version 0.2.2 as well as in 0.2.3 RC2. It only happens in .m3u lists though, the problem does not occur with .pls playlists.
BTW I had this problem with both the BASS engine and the internal DShow player.

The catch with .pls playlists OTOH is that the track length is not displayed properly (I only tested this in 0.2.3 RC2). E.g. a "Length<#>=216" entry in the .pls file makes MP display a track length of exactly 60:00:00 instead of 3:36.
Accordingly, "Length=230" turns out to 63:53:20 instead of 3:50. MP seems to divide the "Length" value by 3.6 to calculate the running length in hours.
I might file a separate bug report for this after further testing, if needed.

Not that I know of. I only tried the playlist formats supported by Winamp: m3u, m3u8 (not recognized by MP) and pls.
