Started on: 2009-08-15 last update: 2009-08-15 Summary: A relatively simply idea I think for the Music module within Mediaportal, opening it up for 'greater things' Area: MyMusic Description: Simply put, a complete replacement of the MyMusic module to that of MyAudio. Here's my idea. - The whole thing to be database driven. - Allow the user to define their own 'types' of audio (for example, personally I have Music, Comedy and Audiobook audio files, so I would use those 3 headings for types of audio I want to see within MP. In the config for MyAudio, the user would have the opportunity to 'create' their own Audio Type sections (see above). Within MP itself, this would translate to a sub-page to the MyAudio link. (ie. using my example of types from above, I would click on MyAudio and it would take me to a page which would have the 3 links 'Music', 'Comedy' and 'AudioBooks', when one of these links is 'clicked' it takes you to your list of items. So, there it is, I hope it's easy enough to understand. I'll be honest, if I had any clue how to code for MP I would do it myself as a plugin, but y'know. No clue and all that :) Let me know what you guys think, and any improvements on the basic idea. Thanks TheMightySpud
