Hi Guys

Great job on the MAME plugin, or at least I think so, because I can't make it work for me :)
I've configured the plugin according to the Wiki.

I can import the games into the mameplugin.
I can see all the games directly in the mame32 application, and play them from there.

But if I try to launch a game from MediaPortal, it complains that it can't find the unzipped files?

The Mame32 is placed in C:\mame32, and all the paths are correct, I've also tried adding -inipath c:\mame32 to it, and I've set up the absolute paths in mame32ui.ini

Also, every time I go to the Mame plugin, I have to choose to see filenames to see the games, and their graphics.
I've probably done something stupid, because I deleted all the views and tried to create my own, but I can't make it work, so I need some help on that as well.

So, what to do?

Here is an example of a working MAME configuration. First I did a standard install of MAME32, then added the 119 history.dat into the folder, then I opened MAME32 told it where the roms were, let it scan them, closed MAME32.
Using the setting linked above, I scanned the roms again in My Programs setup (this takes about 30mins with a full set) and that’s it.

When you open MAME in My Programs it seems to default to Manufacturer View – which is useless to me. You have to Switch View to get a #-Z list. Haven’t got a fix for this yet. Also with current SVN you will probably not be able to launch MAME after using My TV, this should get sorted out soon as well.

It's working beatifully now, I don't have a tuner in the machine at the moment, I want to put in a DVB dual tuner in it, but I need to figure out which one, so it's not a problem as of yet with My TV :)
Yes you are absolutely right, the setup with showing the manufacturer is totally weird, and it need to be changed to show the titles permanently.

I'll look forward to see the development.

I was able to recreate a "file view" using these settings : launch count, >=0, 0, 100, List, Title, Asc. This view must be the topmost one since My Programs doesn't remember views anymore.

PS. Using files or titles on the "selection tab" doesn't work.

Hello all,

I heve the same problem, the games won't start up because of missing files. But they do work in mameui64 I added the -inipath but it still doesn't work. Anyone got some ideas to fix this?
