is it possible to use .lnk instead of .exe as far as the program is concerned? I use Total Game Control and with it I can make shortcuts to where when they are opened, it changes the TGC profile to whatever I have selected for it. As such, it requires the .lnk file (so it can modify target) instead of the .exe file.
I tried to insert the target command that TGC does with links into the pre-execute bit and it popped TGC up over MediaPortal and it then went on to lock up (had to close a "Not Responding" MediaPortal). In this case, where would you put such a command? Example for the MediaPortal link (on desktop) I have: "C:\Program Files\Digital Transforms\Total Game Control\GameCtrl.exe" profile="MediaPortal" target="C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.exe" targetDir="C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal"
so is there a part in MyPrograms where this can be done since I can't seem to get espxe.lnk to work?
