MythTv Backend (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I'm pretty shure that this is the wrong thread to ask this. But I was not able to find a better place!
Does anybody have experience with the combination of the backend of mythtv and the frontend of MediaPortal?

I love the Frontend of MediaPortal. I think its currently the best that you can get. But I like to run a Tv-Server on my linux server at home and I think mythtv is the best way to do it.
But I can't read anything about a combination of both.

I think this is not possible atm. ArgusTV works with MP as frontend. I am sure @mm1352000 got more knowledge tho.

Yeah, this will be cool but I think mythtv should emulate mptvserver to cheat mptvclient

I think that won't work unless you write your own TvPlugin like ArgusTv did it or emulate the TvServer what will be quite difficult if not impossible...

Okay I just read something more about ArgusTv. It seems that it doesn't work on linux, right? Is the source code available somewhere?
