    Important:
    Read this information before you start ::click::
    If you dont know how MyTV is working have a look at the ::manual::

    Always wait a few seconds at every Teststep before you write down the CPU-Load! Try to take a average value.

    additional Preparations needed:
    • installed Media Portal 0.2pre no CVS installed
    • delete all *.log files in MediaPortal/log directory
    • TV channels setup done
    • dissable fullscreen mode in config
    • strg+alt+del open taskmanager. click system tab. Watch the CPU-Load

    :::::::::Testplan Phase 1 Preparations:::::::::

    1. in config set renderer setting for myTV to VMR9. If thats not possible use VMR 7 or Overlay.

    2. in config set:
    ----Video Codec Type & Version: MPEG2DEC filter
    ----Audio Codec Type & Version: MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM

    3. deactivate timeshift

    1. CPU Load before you start Media Portal. Dont forget go close all unnecessary applications!

    4. tune your favorite freeTV channel.

    5. start recording.

    6. stop recording after 3 minutes.

    7. Activate Timeshift and watch TV for at least 5 minutes to fill the buffer.

    If you have no 3rd party Audio/Video codec like WinDVD installed you can skip the Testplan Phase 2!

    1. in config set renderer setting for myTV to VMR9. If thats not possible use VMR 7 or Overlay.

    ---Video Codec Type & Version: your 3rd party Video codec i.e. WinDVD
    ---Audio Codec Type & Version: your 3rd party Audio codec i.e. WinDVD
