    If you dont know how MyTV is working have a look at the ::manual::

    additional Preparations needed:
    • installed Media Portal 0.2pre with CVS 10-09-2005-19:23 installed
    • TV channels setup done

    :::::::::Testplan Phase 1 Preparations:::::::::

    1. in config set renderer setting for myTV to VMR9. If thats not possible use VMR 7 or Overlay.

    2. in config set:
    ----Video Codec Type & Version: MPEG2DEC filter
    ----Audio Codec Type & Version: MPEG/AC3/DTS/LPCM


    :::::::::Testplan Phase 1 start:::::::::

    info:
    Windows Version: your windows version incl. service packs
    CPU Type: manufacturer and speed
    Memory: amount and type
    Motherboard Chipset: manufacturer and model
    Video Card: manufacturer and model
    Video Card Driver: driver version you used for testing
    Video Render Type: VMR9 | VMR7 | Overlay
    TV Card: type of TV card, manufacturer and model
    TV Card Type: software / hardware / DVB
    TV Card Driver: driver version you used for testing
    Satelite/CableTV Provider: i.e. Astra 19.2°E

    1. Start Media Portal go straight to myTV and select your favorit freeTV channel.
    result:
    -----Channel name: i.e. Pro7
    -----Sattelite: i.e. Astra 19.2°E
    -----notes:

    2. now unplug the antenna cable from your TV-Card and wait 30 seconds.
    result:
    -----Picture is | black | stuttering | freezed | playing
    -----Audio is | mute | stuttering | playing
    -----No/bad signal notification: displayed | not displayed
    -----notes:

    3. now tune another freeTV channel and wait 30 seconds.
    result:
    -----Picture is | black | stuttering | freezed | playing
    -----Audio is | mute | stuttering | playing
    -----No/bad signal notification: displayed | not displayed
    -----Channel name: i.e. RTL
    -----notes:

    4. reconnect the antenna cable and wait 30 seconds.
    result:
    -----Picture is | black | stuttering | freezed | playing
    -----Audio is | mute | stuttering | playing
    -----No/bad signal notification: displayed | not displayed
    -----notes:

    5. now tune another freeTV channel and wait 30 seconds.
    result:

    If you have no 3rd party Audio/Video codec like WinDVD installed you can skip the Testplan Phase 2!

    1. in config set renderer setting for myTV to VMR9. If thats not possible use VMR 7 or Overlay.

    2. in config set:
    ---Video Codec Type & Version: your 3rd party Video codec i.e. WinDVD
    ---Audio Codec Type & Version: your 3rd party Audio codec i.e. WinDVD
