Error description:
1. use taskplanner to open a notepad window after a few minutes e.g. at 20:36
2. start mediaportal in fullscreen mode
3. go to MyTv
4. tune to a channel and switch to fullscreen mode
5. wait till 20:36, MediaPortal crashed at the same time the notepad window gets opened
This is also true for my movies and when playing DVDs in full screen mode.
If no video is played while MP is in fullscreen mode, there is no crash
Using VLC in fullscreen mode and opening a window does not cause a crash
(So i do not think it is a driver issue)
The error log says
2008-04-24 21:37:00.648532 [Info.][16]: Planescene(720,576,16,9,215560000,False,8):Unhandled exception in Fehler in der Anwendung. Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D bei Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.Device.PresentInternal(tagRECT* sourceRectangle, tagRECT* destRectangle, IntPtr overrideWindow)

bei Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D.Device.Present()
bei MediaPortal.Player.PlaneScene.InternalPresentSurface(Int32 width, Int32 height, Int32 arWidth, Int32 arHeight, Boolean InRepaint)
This is not new. I posted this a month ago, but in the wrong forum.
Hope anyone can reproduce the bug.
Thanks.!
