[no Bug] MyTV: Playback of recorded programmes: incorrect OSD (1 Viewer)

In MyTV, while watching TV you can see OSD containing info including:
- channel's name
- progressbar (particularly - "tvprogress" control)

If you select some recorded programme, you will see the same OSD.
I got some observations for it:

1. Channel's name is concatenated with a special remark that "it is a recorded video" (some hardcoded text). I do not have any objections for this specialized channel's name. But the name is not displayed in full lenghth - it is truncated because the label is too close to the next label (#Play.current.title).
I think that:
- either the hardcoded text will be excluded from channel's name
- or this label will be moved to another place to avoid conflict with another label

2. I think that in this case (means - watching recorded video) the "tvprogress" control is not appropriate. I think that a usual "progress" must be displayed

Can you make a screenshot and highlight the stuff you want changed? Combine it with some accurate steps to reproduce, and it will be much simpler to understand and confirm.

This is a screenshot of live TV "CNN international":

As you can see, channel's name is shown partly - 'cause it is a long name.

This is a screenshot of recorded programme: channel "НТВ", proframme's name "Жуки":

Channel's name is short, but it is concatenated with "Записанные передачи" (means "Recorded TV", localized string ID 604).
And this name is not fully visible.

ANother point is that tvprogress control is used. But it is a regular video - so, a regular progress control is better to use.

You have a point with this. I am just not sure it is a bug as such. The channel name is too long, and those are almost never completely readable. If we made more space for the channel name it would mean less space for other stuff. Titles re more important, since the channel name can be changed in configuration to something shorter.

For these reasons I am setting this thread to no bug, but I am open to suggestions for redesign if you (or others) come up with a good solution for this.

I think the TV progress is used since it shows the channel name for the recording, so I guess it is intentional. I remember there was some debate on this when redesigning the OSD.

So, if it is still being recorded - it anyway shown in "Recordings" section ???
BTW, the list of recordings includes duration of each video. So, if some video is still on progress, this duration is meaningless.

Why it was decided to show currently being recorded programme in the "Recordings" section ?
