I am new to posting on this forum so first of all, hello.
I am thinking about getting a PVR-150 and putting a HTPC in my living room (using MediaPortal). The only uncertain question i have is about getting the TV aspect of it working good. Okey, now is my situation. I am comcast cable and recently they have switched my whole area to digital cable so now i have a set top box to decode the digital cable. I know MyTV supports that TV tuner card. I just not sure how the switching channels is going to work. Can i just change the channel through MediaPortal or through the cable box. Will i have to use two remotes and i program one remote to both devices. I'm just not sure how this is going to work so can some explain it to me or if someone is in the same boat please share you experience.
Also is the included remote supported? or would the snapstream firefly remote be better?
