Every time I try to scan for media after config path parser etc, I get an error 'failed to locate assembly' with some info of the problem (unfortunately not very useful for me). I dont even tried to run MP yet cos after that message MP setup crashes. I did several tests creating directories, sorting and renamig few files for matching but nothing changed. May be its just something I need to get installed but I dont get it.

I have a lot of media, specially series so I really want this plug working. I did some searching before to register here but I coudnt find the answer so please can someone take a look at my shot attachment and let me know if any idea.

thx.

Hi,

I could be wrong but based on that screenshot and error message I do not think you
are using the current version of the plugin. (There was an old Tvseries plugin that used the sgmlreader I think)

Try downloading this version:

HTH,

Thanks for your answer, I think you're right. I uninstalled the older plugin but not sure if correctly. Im getting a new error (see shot) as soon as I open plugin section of MP setup.

I manually ensured all previous files of the plug where deleted. After that I copied the new ones according to the same dir structure obtained when unziped. Cache plugin was erased for in case, but seems to have nothing to do with this. I believe the problem is related with this new versionof 'MP-TVSeries.dll'. Not sure but changing extension to not load it and everything works flawlessly without my tvseries present. Yet Im wondering if I forgot something on installation, uninstalling or what.

Again thanks and excuses for being a computer illerated.

Which version of MP are you using?

If you are using 0.2.2.0 stable, I can e-mail you the last version of the plugin that worked fine with it (0.9.5).

Send me a PM with your e-mail address if you need it.

Cheers.

Hi, just to say I finally installed the plugin.

Bad timing cos server's changes at Thetvdb's inet database. But no problem with config, parsing or anything so I guess its only a question of time that can download shows info as expected (so seems theres no way for introducing manually IDs).

Again, thanks for your help gonna do the same always I can.

Good to hear you are back up and running again.

Yeah, the updates have been a bit flakey over the past couple of weeks due to changing servers, etc.

If you keep trying, you'll eventually get through and pull all the info needed down.

Not sure what you mean by manually introducing ids, but if you're game, you can always manually append to the DB.
