MyTvSeries page doesn't draw properly (1 Viewer)

i have a problem with this latest update

if i go to the MyTvSeries menu, then leave it until the screen blanks (5 minutes on mine), when i then use the remote to bring the screen back, the skin crashes. MyTvSeries page doesn't draw properly (i get the outlines and the system clock, and some text in the bottom corner, but nothing more), after about 10 seconds it then returns to the home page - which then also doesn't draw properly. here, the menu which slides in from the left hand side of the screen only slides out a small amount, so i can see the last letter of each menu item only. it sticks here, and doesn't respond to any input. the only solution i have found is to end the MP task.

i'm pretty sure this never happened until this last update, but i could be wrong. it DEFINITELY didn't happen with the version i first installed a few weeks ago, there has been two updates since then which were both quite close together, and it's possible it happened with the earlier update but i didn't notice at first.

i've been trying since i first posted, but the upload thing often doesn't work... i just closed the window after i left it uploading for 3 hours with no result... it's only 1mb of data...

Maybe sure you create a zip of all of them, should be rather small once compressed.

finally succeeded! here's the logs, and a screen capture from VNC at the moment i exported them (the basic home page was frozen like this, and would not respond to any user input)

If you disable screensaver mode, does this problem ever occur?

might be related according to errors in log. First I would like to rule out that error being the root cause.

to clarify matters now that the thread has been moved - i originally posted this in the StreamedMP skin forum, because the problem began after some recent updates to that skin.

no, this problem only ever happens when resuming from screensaver. if screensaver is disabled, then no problem.

what errors are you referring to?

if you're referring to the SRV errors in the system log, i've recently tracked down and hopefully fixed that one. apparently windows 7 doesn't like to be run as a file server without making some adjustments to the memory management in the registry - i found several pages on google detailing the same fix, and since i do use it as a file server this seems like a likely suspect. it also doesn't get rebooted much, and SRV errors demand a reboot (as do the registry tweaks) so it should be fine for at least a few days if not permanently!

so i'll keep an eye on it, and also keep an eye out for the other problems. is it worth me posting more logs if i see either of those problems again?
