Hi all.

I would like to have the option, that when a movie folder is selected i.e. double clicked, the IDMB view is displayed rather than contents of the folder.

From the couch user point of view, exploring the contents of a movie folder is not an everyday task. You want to be to select the movie, read the info & then play it. :wink:

i second that - i'd really like to have an option in configuration that if you click enter on a movie, you can select whether mp plays the movie or displays the imdb movie info screen

How about this: Pressing enter on the movie shows the IMDB info, pressing play on the movie -- well, you guessed it -- plays the movie. No need to configure this imo. As someone suggested elsewhere, there might be an option in the right-click menu to open/browse the folder.

This is exactly what I was trying to get to. Rather than showing the contents of the folder when pressed, show the IDMB. To show the contents of a folder should be a right click menu option.

Good idea, maybe pressing enter/play plays the movie and pressing "i" (or "info" on some remotes) -- well you guessed it -- shows the info.
