    Starting in TV Build 12749 we are now able to scan NA satellites! It was actually working before but because of the small amount of time we were giving it to scan each transponder... it wasn't working that good. To make sure this works on your NA satellites you will need to do a couple of things. We now have a... tab on the left side of the TV configuration called Timeout settings. This is what you will need to change in order to get good scans.

    Change these values under Timeout Settings.

    PMT = 30 (default is 5)
    SDT/VCT = 60 (Default is 20)

    Now scanning is going to take a little longer.. but it's better than typing this stuff in by hand... which I was doing for awhile.

    I would really like to thank Frodo for all his hard work on this... If there are any other NA users out there.... please show your support by posting a little thank you in this thread! Show your support!

    Thanks again Frodo
    You will forever be my Master.

    I have a Twinhan 1207 and MP does not detect it at all (not in the pulldown as a tv tuner). TV-Server does detect it, however, there are certain limitations/bus with TV-server that make me want to wait to use it. Anyone have any tips to get my twinhan to work in plain MP? Thanks!!!

    I should say to help out those in NA with Twinhan cards. You can get a full scan, but it will require a custom ini file, and overriding LNB Settings.

    I use these tp's in both 110 and 119 ini file (.\program file\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal TV Server\Tuningparameters)

    Code:
    [DVB]
    0=39
    1=11720,V,26000,12
    2=13860,V,26000,12
    3=11760,V,26000,12
    4=13780,V,26000,12
    5=11840,V,26000,12
    6=13620,V,26000,12
    7=12040,V,26000,12
    8=12060,V,26000,12
    9=13540,V,26000,12
    10=12160,V,26000,12
    11=12224,V,20000,56
    12=13361,V,20000,56
    13=12253,V,20000,56
    14=13332,V,20000,56
    15=12282,V,20000,56
    16=13303,V,20000,56
    17=12311,V,20000,56
    18=13274,V,20000,56
    19=12341,V,20000,56
    20=13245,V,20000,56
    21=12370,V,20000,56
    22=13216,V,20000,56
    23=12399,V,20000,56
    24=13186,V,20000,56
    25=12428,V,20000,56
    26=13157,V,20000,56
    27=12457,V,20000,34
    28=13128,V,20000,34
    29=12486,V,20000,34
    30=13099,V,20000,34
    31=12516,V,20000,34
    32=13070,V,20000,56
    33=12545,V,20000,56
    34=13041,V,20000,56
    35=12574,V,20000,56
    36=13012,V,20000,56
    37=12603,V,20000,56
    38=12632,V,20000,56
    39=12661,V,20000,56

    I know some of these tp's don’t exist on 110 and some on 119 - but it doesn’t hurt. The other thing that this ini file does it convert the H to V.

    Finally, set your LNB's to universal and 119 on swticha 110 on switchb and override your LNB to Hi:11250 Lo:11250 SW:0

    I don’t' have any answer as to why, I just know that I can get a full scan of 110 and 119 with this method.
