@offbyone - I still think of this concept - although I never quite understood it ( 
)... Did you give it up (dead), put it on hold - or are you just waiting for the idea and MP2 to mature?
I never liked much any of the MP1 or 2 "home screens"... As I said earlier, I'd like to see a "start menu" separated from any screen/plugin and have a info-screen for the "not doing anything screen" (w/weather, news - but not ticker!, latest added media, next fav. show on EPG, latest twitter/FB/G+ update +++). Actually more like Android does it. The "menu thingy" should just pop up on whatever screen whenever needed. (Yes, I'm repeating myself, but looking towards politicians, it seems that repeating things to death evidently will make people agree).
