Hi,

I have some problems with MP and with my system

What do I have:

XP 32bit prof
3 GB Ram
Intel Core Duo 4300
Ati HD4670
LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray drive Lastest Firmware 1.03
Full HD TV connected thru HDMI

Problems

1.
I can't play any Blu-Ray.
The cyberlink advisor tells me my grafic card driver is to old and the arcsoft advisor I don't have a Blu-Ray drive  :eek:
Hmmm, what is this, I'm using the latest catalyst 9.11 and firmware.

2.
I have to disable the arcsoft auto deinterlacing because the every movie was flickering/pumping. Idk how to say that, the brightness was changing really quick and the movie was too slow with some breaks. Do I need the deinterlacing and if - why?
Without the deinterlancing it seems to play the movies well.

3.
How can I force the arcsoft pluging to change the refresh rate. In the plugin config there is a point for that and I enabled it, but nothing happens. To my knowledge the internal refresh changer is not working with an external player, am I right?

4.
I have some problems to play different files with MP, but I can play them with WMP11 or VLC . I am using the cyberlink codec and I can watch the most movies, but I have some with the wmp v9 codec (which are not installed) and I can't play them properly using MP. I have sound but I can't see something. I don't have WMP 9 installed - I made a Nlite XP and removed it, I thought the codecs are included in WMP 11 because this player is needed for MP.

If I try ffdshow nothing is working anymore. Can someone give me the settings for ffdshow. How should I configure it. I know there is a threat about SAF and I have tried it and made the settings in MP but I think I have to configure ffdshow as well.

Hope this is not to hard to understand I know my Englisch is not the best

Any tip is welcome

What I found out is it has to do with XP SP3. I tried a complete new installation without it and without nlite. before installing SP3 I was able to watch Blu-Ray's and with it not.

Waaahhhhh can someone help me please. Is it possible to install MP without SP3??

edit:

thought it has to do with SP3 but I was wrong. I tried another new installation without SP3 and now it is not working again. For that reason I tried AnyDVD HD and here I get the Error "AnyDVD is not activated for drive Z". I have another XP but with 64bit and I don't have these problems there AnyDVD is working, I can watch Blu-Ray with PowerDVD but I won't use this PC for that and Mp is not working with XP 64bit.

WTF *grrrrrrr censored* is this.

Come on, please help me
