i am having an issue trying to play dvds in mediaportal. i have moving pictures set up to play my ripped dvds that are on my server, but when i insert a dvd, scroll down to the play dvd in the streamedMP skin, the screen turns black and then restarts the home screen menu.
i am thinking that i have it set up wrong, or not setup at all. i tried doing a seach on how to set it up, but couldn't find anything, most just say "we will skip over that for now" but then never show a setup for it. i have also reinstalled mediaportal and plugins to see if default settings would work with it. i have also set it up to use an external player using powerdvd9, it opens and plays, but then when you stop the movie and want to exit, you can't unless you have a mouse handy. and not really an ideal solution.
