I'm not sure what happened, but the first time I tried to scan channels (lulled by the blissful ignorance that it was apparently impossible) I got a score or more of channels. I was definitely watching FOX in HD. I flipped through a few others, but they were definitely there. Then I tried some other settings to try to get the live feed, because I really want to record my DVR'ed stuff and then the channels were blank. The key thing is that at one point, they were there!?! I tried uninstalling completely with FULL option on and reinstalling, but it didn't help and it kept the live feed channel and hybrid configs I set up as per the posts above. There must be registry keys that The full install does not remove that hold that data. Maybe if I can flush those too and reinstall fully again, the magic will return. Ideas? I really liked having HD coming in to my computer. Is it possible it was pulling them from the air without an antennae, maybe using the coax as an antennae? Just thinking out loud here . . .
