Hi,
Just a simple question,
Does MP need internet connection for TV watching?
If so, why it need the connection?
I try to disconnect the ethernet and the TV program stopped.
????
No you shouldn't need internet for watching TV, but you need it to grab EPG if you don't get that from your DVB-stream. That sounds like some sort of bug, does it work if you start MP without the ethernet cable?
I assume you are using TV Server. It doesn't need internet connection but uses IP connection for server/client connection so disconnecting the Ethernet or wireless connection while watching TV is usual to stop the TV.
I 've read people having problems especially with wireless connections that lose connection and stop TV. A way round it is install loopback adapter (you 'll find a thread here if you search) but if you have wired then you just don't disconnect it...
I think that if you start the TV without connection then it works fine but if you start it with connection and then disconnect then TV stops. But I 'm not sure about that.
Set up TV server to use the 'MS loopback adaptor' (see link in my sig below).
TV server needs to associate itself with an network IP address to work - if there is an active network connection when it's installed then that seems to be the one it picks up, so if that connection disappears it stops working.
I don't use MP2, so I can only suggest some things to check.
(1) Does the file reside on a NAS? If it does, the failure to delete may be because the userid that MP2 runs under is not authorised for delete access on the NAS (i.e. MP2 has read access, but not update/delete access). When you use Windows Explorer, you are using your own...

I meant use MP client to try to spot how it's requesting streams for specific channels and then try to do the same with VLC.
TV Server development looks dead so I'm afraid you're going to have to figure that out by yourself if it's even possible.
