Need US ATSC EPG direct from Transport Stream. (1 Viewer)

Why hasn't MP have yet to create an EPG grabber for US ATSC? EPG is embedded in the stream as PSIP data. Most channel providers provide the information already. Just need to have Mediaportal import it to the EPG, just like how DVB-S EPG grabs this info off certain transponders. I know most devs are not located here in the US, but let me know what you need so I can provide this. I know there are 3rd party solutions to grab and make xmltv file for you but most are not free. What is the point of using US ATSC if you still have to pay for EPG?

Are the Devs working on a seamless solution for US ATSC EPG? I know about that mc2xml program, but I was looking into something as seamless as DVB EPG.
