The only people who possibly could help you would be someone that is currently running MP with OS Windows XP Lite. Not many (if any) have it working then you may have different codecs, different video cards, different...

OS Windows XP Lite - is not what is supported.

Error code 80040154 is "Class not registered". So, most likely the XP lite is missing some needed system files (and that's why we don't support customized / stripped down OS installations.)

It is a shame that those of us wanting to run MP on a lean system are now forced to install MS bloat (eg .NET 3.5).

I think it's already complicated enought to deal with the many different official releases of Windows and all the different hardware which is out there. I also think, that there is no real benefit anymore in stripping down a already fast system like Windows XP (which produces potential new problems) - it's a waste of time and energy.

as the errors are quite clearly related to what is not on your system then the only people who can help are the ones that developed the OS, contact them for assistance see if they can help..
