My first post, have been using MP now for 6 months and for 95% of the time it beats everything else hands down, and the other 5% i find i'm ripping my hair out!!
I've just installed Windows Home Server, and installed MP on a client and pointed to the shared file on the network.
No problems exist at all, it all works perfectly.
Now, when I close MP I can no longer access the server and all the files and folders that exist on it from the client machine. I'm fairly new to networking but it feels like MP won't let go of its grip of the network, if that makes any sense. When MP is restarted it to can no longer access the files on the server.
Only a reboot of the client will restore my access to the server files.
Anybody got any ideas, I have trawled through the forums with no success.
