I'm going to be retiring the htpc for a study pc, as the existing study pc is nearly dead. So i'll be re-using the gt220, and a 1TB HDD and dual tv tuner, but apart from that, it'll be a complete new build.
I've been thinking the antec fusion w/remote case, so now I'm just trying to work out a suitable mATX mobo that doesnt have expensive onboard graphics feature. I want to be able to record HD tv, even though I dont have a HD tv - yet. So playback of HD 1080p important, even though its several months away.
Re audio out, I have an old amp, which only has analogue connections rear of unit. I'm only running Front speakers, but will be adding sub and centre soon. So onboard sound probably suit my needs?
I dont have a preference for amd, or intel, so mobo can be for either
