Hi all,

i´m working now on a new Skin for Mediaportal.
(I think it would be also good for the Community Project) :wink:

The Idee of this Project is to have a clear and professional Design for mp.
All Elements would be on the same place in all screens.

And all new animationfunktions in mp should be used for that to make a nice looking skin (..i hope)

Home screen:

In the Homescreen the hovers will be full animated, so they will appear in Blocks and come together .
In the right gap we can add Infos like widgets, Time/Date, Weatheroverlay and so on.

Musikscreen:

The upper right Shortcuticons brings you fast to the most used screens.
They will be also full animated, with the new code bavarian have made, they can appear with a smoozly zoom if they are have focus and they zoom also smoozly back if nofocus.

Musicplaying:

In this screen you see the infos on the upper side, in all screens the infos will be on the same place, like TV infos or video.

Background Change:

Another Idea is that the user can change the middle background of the skin like he love.

All Buttons in this skin wll be also full animated with some glow or else, the buttons in the screenshots are not the finaly.

That looks really good, some of the skins that have been development look very ...... well childish. This skin seems to look really good and like the idea of having weather and other information on homescreen.

I wish this info could be on most (if not all) the other screens as well, but it looks like space is at a premimium so that not be able to happen.

If the contrast is so high, it takes to much attention away, that is why pure black/white is not my favorite.

I like the design, the orientation and the gui ideas.

Really nice! However its a bit dark for my taste. Im corrently mostly using MCE 2005 and I realy like the skin effect. Its great if every button will be glowing / animatid! Hovever I dont understand that you mean by that the middle background could be changed - could this change the background color? The background in MCE 2005 is constantly moving - are there any plans to implement something like that? In my opinion it gives it a mutch more genuine and profesional toutch. Allso its good to know the computer is alive, we are running Windows after all....

Black is good...excellent concept. When you finish it, it will be my new default skin.
