Edit: Just updated the fw in my FloppyDTV-T and enabled PID filtering in the MP config util.
Sounds very interesting since I sometimes have to remove and insert my smart card sometimes.

Yep, I tried. It works. But I have a few stability problem with FloppyDTV in general, regardles of FW version. This version is no exception.
But, try it yourself and see if it suits you.

When I have "PID Filtering" switched on I get stuttering audio after a while. A bug or is it just me? Nvidia PureVideo codecs.

Have you rebooted? Smooth audio here, no stuttering.
Yes, I have rebooted. Also tried power cycling my HTPC.

yes that is indeed what I did in that ticket. It may already be working without updating those plugins because most of it was not relevant to the plugin itself (test, some leftover unused parts etc).
