I have a new MP install and get this error message (Unable to Play:live2-0.ts.tsbuffer) when I try to view live tv. Card works in preview when setting channels up in tvserver config. But this happens everytime when running MP.

I have still had no luck. Getting same error. Tried different codecs, Reinstall. Reinstall Tuner card. etc etc..
Anyone have any ideas? I have seen very little in terms of similar problems and no answers in the searches I have completed. Have I uploaded my logs correctly? Thanks, dsto

Hi
The one time this happened to me was when i was trying to watch movies in MP but i hadnt clicked on " TV On". I kept on selecting channels but nothing happened. Then when i pressed "TV On", everything worked.

Thanks for the reply. I have pressed tv on with no success. I have on occasion gotten a "No video/Audio signal". I have limited knowledge of this stuff! I have continued digging around and found a few things to try when I get home. I'll report back later. Thanks again for giving me some advice.
I have successfullt played DVD's but I have yet to get my TV signal through MP. It plays just fine when I test channels in Config.

Hi,

have you ever tried to use the option "Start Time Shift" in the TVServer configuration (under "Manual Control")?

That would help to figure out if it is a problem of your time shift buffer (configuration) or the connection MP to TV-Server.

Yes. I have started Time Shifting under manual controls and it seems to work correctly. What would that indicate then? I have to admit that I am even unsure that .ts buffer is refering to Time Shifting or TV Server. From my searching I think it is Time shifting...is that correct?

Well..I am pretty much an idiot! hehe. I got Live tv working...I had an old Video card I was using to build this HTPC and I thought it had more memory than it did....it was the Video card all along. I put another I had lying around in and it plays...herkly jerky put it works...I still need to upgrade some components but I am happy to see the things actually displaying live tv before I go and spend anymore$$. Nice work on the software DEV team guys/volunteers. And thanks to the guys that tried to help out! It is appreciated. So double check your components guys. It wasnt MP..it was me.
