Hi, StreamedMP is a skin for MediaPortal. You can find a lot of skins and plugins (used to extend MP functionality).
IMHO, I should consider a more soft approach:
download and install MediaPortal / TVServer; configure them, use them, and find out any problems or errors in configuration, fix them.
AND, when you're sure (or pretty sure) that all is running fine, download and give a try to skins and plugins. One at time

It s a separate download. It is a skin that also includes plugins like TVSeries and MovingPictures.
Yo can install the bundle or you can even instal those plugins on any other skin including the default as well.

I clicked on the box highlighted in the attached screenshot and also added English GB to that and removed the existing English EN. Misspellled words (like that one) are now underlined with red wavy line.:)

Up untill recently I'm sure there was a spell checker on new posts, (misspelled words were highlighted). It does not seem to be...

I have been using it For 16 years now (from V1.1.1) and it has worked flawlessly.
I only use TV Series and Moving...
Got a reply from SD ...
"Looks like your last successful download was on 5/23.
On 5/24 for some reason we received 194 connections between 10:54 and 11:05
triggering a denial of service attack ban. The logs show it was lifted on 5/25,
but I still see the entry in iptables. I reset fail2ban and hopefully you're
working again."
