    Hi guys,

It is tested with the microsoft MCE remote and the keyboard. Runs with 0.2..0 RC3.

currently there is no mouse support.

the binary can be downloaded http://www.xs4all.nl/~leeuwenw/minesweeperrc3.rar

    documentation can be downloaded
    http://www.xs4all.nl/~leeuwenw/Minesweeperrc3.pdf

this document descripes how to play the game, how to install it, how to change settings like board size, nr of bombs, and how to play it.

You can download a PDF file of the current source, keep in mind I am not a C# programmer, this is my first c# program and I don't know if this is the best way to handle the screen presentation, and so on.
    http://www.xs4all.nl/~leeuwenw/minesweeperrc3source.rar

    How to play the game:
    checking for a bomb
    Remote ( Play button ) or ( 1 )
    Keyboard ( 1 )

    marking as bomb/questionmark
    Remote ( info ) or ( 2 )
    keyboard ( 2)

change sound ( button 8 ) ( silent, all sounds, all sounds except time tick ).
change the board settings ( button 9 )

pause button on the Remote is used to pause the game.

If you have any comments / remarks / requests this is the place.

if you use a different skin then MCE, please copy the content of the MCE folder in the skin folder you use.

Known bugs in the RC3 version.
    1) New game button has to be pressed twice befor the first game starts.
    2) When a new field is selected then the background isn't updated proper.

Please update the languages in the media portal language editor.

    have fun with it.

    Really nice work!

Some minor thoughts though, I would like an initial capital letter on "my Minesweeper" as well as on the "bombs, "time" and "fast" labels.

I can move the cursor to the left or down without a problem, but I can only move it one space up, or one space left then nothing, then one space left then nothing. Anyone else have this problem? Using about a week old CVS, MCE European Remote.

I'd be happy to do a BlueTwo version with new graphics, once it's working for me...

It works for me, about the same CVS version (~ 1 week) and the european MCE remote. No problems at all.

    Hi Brocklander,

    did you download the
    minesweeperrc1.rar or the minesweeper.rar

the minesweeper.rar has an problem in the skin file

you can change the button defenition in the skin file to :
    <control>
    <type>button</type>
    <description>New Game</description>
    <id>2</id>
    <posX>60</posX>
    <posY>97</posY>
    <onleft>2</onleft>
    <onright>2</onright>
    <onup>2</onup>
    <ondown>2</ondown>
    <label>19002</label>
    </control>

or download the last version of the plugin, the rc1 version : minesweeperrc1.rar, which you can find in the first post.

I hope this solves your problem.

Super cool Rudolph! This is what makes MP so fantastic. Even though I don't download all available plugins I must say it's great that you have the choices. It's like a big smorgasbord!

About this plugin/game, would it be possible to make some fancier graphics? I (or others) could perhaps contribute if you wanted?

I any way, once more a big thanks!
