I though I should pass this along...
I came across the App Gallery on the Netflix website and a program called Netflix TX Viewer. Basically it's a standalone Netflix Desktop program. It claims to "This remote control/mouse friendly program allows you to watch Netflix watch instantly movies, search by actor, director, genre, or keyword, download trailers, add/delete movies and change the order of your instant queue. Ideal for HTPCs! "
Has anyone heard of this program? The developer page is on a Sage TV forum but the program is stand alone.

Downloaded and tested it out from the desktop. The GUI is decent but not as nice as My Netflix plugin and most of the features are enabled through the right click menus.
Looking forward to the My Netflix 2.0 version!
