new set up using wintv-go on xp tv problem (1 Viewer)

im new here at mediaportal just recently browsing for a good Media Center and i like ti give this one a try. i installed the stable version at the sownload page and i think everything went good durring installation.

my problem arises when i have to add channels on the detected tv tunner of mine. i live in miami florida and i cant add a damn channel. and when i click the watch tv i got this error about cannot graph or something like that....

i read the wiki and manual and related forums but nothing helpd me about my problem. i hope someone here can help me setting this up. i just want to watch tv i dont really care streaming it to the network.... i hope someone can help. thanks

Go to the Windows start menu, navigate to the MediaPortal folder and start MediaPortal Logs Collector - see Forum/How_to_post_logs - MediaPortal Manual Documentation

From the logs it looks like you have an analog TV card which uses software MPEG encoding. These can be tricky to get working in MP - it works best with digital TV cards or analog cards with hardware encoding.

Also with MP 1.0.2 you should be using the TV-server as well - MP + TV-server is the normal installation, even on a single PC. You then setup the TV cards in TV-server.
