I have been reading on this forums for long time but I think I still don't get all hardware info to build my own mediaportal.

I'm not going to use any server, just build a PC with all the HW needed for:
DXVA
1080i/p, 720p movies on mkv format (not sure if need subtitles still)
Double TV reciver to be able to watch and record programs at same time.
Music.
Some emulators.

Other things would be great, but not needed.

By the moment I think I just need:
Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H Socket AM2+/AM3 DDR2 <-- The HD4200 & its HDMI should be better than that mobos with HD3200??? I Know its stupid question but maybe latter DXVA still not suported or similar...
AMD Athlon II 245 X2 Dual Core 2.9Ghz AM3 Box <-- Enought for mp interface and to run emulators?
2Gb of DDR 1066 or 800 if doesn't make noticiable difference of performance
About TV when need will take one from the TV card forum.

These are the 3 most important parts I'm scared of.

I see so much focus on the 780G chipset but this one uses AMD 785G & AMD SB710.
Wich gives best quality? Nvidia or ATI? or just based on CODEC used for DXVA?

Someone thinks I'm buying a wrong component?

Thanks

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA785GM-US2H Socket AM2+/AM3 DDR2
CPU: AMD Athlon II 245 X2 Dual Core 2.9Ghz AM3 Box
Heatsink: Scythe Big Shuriken Low Profile
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Green GP 1TB 7200 SATA2 Maestro
RAM: Kingston HyperX 1GB DDR2 1066MHz PC2-8500 x2
GPU: Integrated HD4200
Case: Antec Fusion

Is ok to record TV programs on same HDD? or need an extra HDD for no shuttering os loose frames?

I have been googling about HD4200 isnt powerfull enough for DXVA 1080p/i is that true? some people say it can... I missed something?
