I just installed MP 1.1.0 and I'm trying to add a couple of different skins (PM3sexy43 & Blue3 Retro 2.28.82). I downloaded the zip (rar in case of the blue3 retro) and extracted the contents to their own subfolder in the \all users\application data\team mediaportal\mediaportal\skin folder. When I launch MP configuration and go to General>Skins I still only see Blue3 and Blue3wide. I've tried deleting all files in the \all users\application data\team mediaportal\mediaportal\cache folder and then relaunching MP config but the new skins still won't show up. Thanks for your help!

    Hi and welcome.

    I'm pretty sure that those skins are outdated, and therefor can't be used w/MP 1.1 - hence it does not show in config.

    Btw, most new skins are a lot easier to install.

    Consider;

    StreamedMP Version 1.3
    Maya
    Fidelity
    Monochrome / Indigo
    Beazlewide
    Xfactor

    I'd probably start with streamedmp as it's the easiest to install, probably one of the most popular, and comes bundled with some plugins (TV Series, Moving Pics, Infoservice, Fanart) You don't need to worry about extracting files to different directories, it is all done for you. The link is in my signiture.

    Not true, the second most downloaded (after XFace), popular and used skins are the PureVisionHD ones, which are easy to install (without extra dlls for proper functioning of the skin) and the most responsive/fastest ones as well ;)
    Of course - design is a matter of taste, and StreamedMP as well as Black Glass Series are extremely well designed and maintained ;)

    @kiwjunglist + catavolt: I guess the TS has a 4:3 resolution as he tried to install 4:3 skins...

    BorisTheSpider: If I'm right then you should go for aMPed. But you have to wait a (short) while as Dadeo is currently busy launching version 3.2 compatible with MP1.1...
