new to MP and 2 questions (1 Viewer)

Hey all,
I am new to Media Portal. It works much better then the windows MCE what i used before. But....
i've got 2 questions/problems.

the first:
i've added all my music in MP with the configuration tool. this works. I have checked the option to watch my share of any changes. the problem is, when i copy a new cd (map) to my share, nothing happend in MP. it is a windows share, the files are stored on my server. i don't now if this could be the problem? I tried to change some settings but nothing worked.

the second question:
I tried the myTrailers plugin and i got all the info. when i try to watch the trailer, i got an error. does anybody know if there is a plugin that will show the trailers from p.e apple movie trailers?

i read something about the mytrailer plugin won't work with te version of MP 1.0? but i can't find a good alternative.

I hope some one can answer my questions!

hey there and welcome to MP.

For your first question, there are a couple of process plugins that monitor the music shares. Go to the plugin section and there is musicshare watcher and one other. I am at work and going from memory here, but it's something like that. This section is where you can specify what time the scan should take place. I don't use these plugins myself, but think this may be what you need. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will come along with better information.

As for the trailers plugin, have you checked out the showtimes plugin? This will tell you the screening times of movies in theatres close to you and also give the option of watching the trailers. Again, I don't use the trailers plugin any more but think you are right about the older version.
