Newbie needs help configuring tv tuners (1 Viewer)

Hello all, I'm using a haupuage pvr500 and a 1250. I've installed media center, yet cannot configure my tuners. They don't seem to be detected. When I click on "TV-server configuration" on the desktop, I am under the impression that "TV Servers" should list something...anything, yet there is nothing. Can someone help me get going? I'm a former mythtv user and am anxious to find a windows replacement.

Yeah I can relate to making a move from Mythtv. I spent 3 full weeks trying to get it working properly and ended up giving up. Moving to MP was a huge improvement

Yes the cards should just show up in Tv Config.

Probably a stupid question, but are the drivers installed correctly?

What version of MP are you using?

That's odd because I had alot more success with mythtv than with media portal. Anyway, yes, I have installed the drivers and can use haupuage's built in software to watch tv, but it doesn't look like the tuners are detected by mediaportal. Also, I am using MP versions 1.0.1

Just to check have you applied this patch to MP1.0.1 - this seems to be needed for the PVR500, well was for mine anyway.
