I started using an SSD to try it out, but fears of overuse made me start to use a RAMdisk instead. I have 16Gb RAM fitted, but as I use Win7 can only really use 3.5Gb for the OS, the remainder is used as a virtual drive for the timeshift files. It works great, and is very responsive too. I have now been using RAMdisk for about 2 years and never a hiccup. Timeshift HD TV flawlessly.</p></blockquote><p></p>
