No AC3 audio - AC3filter not used (1 Viewer)

Hello Forum,

I can't get AC3 to run in My TV

AC3 runs fine over SPDIF for DVD or videos.

I selected AC3Filter as audio decoderfor My TV, but it looks like MP always uses MPA as decoder. Graphedit shows that, AC3Filter is displayed but not connected to the stream.

Any ideas someone?

The codec under "Configuration -> Movies -> Movie Player" is used for TV in TVe3, think its also listed in Mantis already.

Thanks for the answer, but AC3Filter is selected there also.

It's kind of weird, but the only codec that works for me (SPDIF passthrough) is the purevideo one frome nvidia, tried windvd, cyberlink etc. etc. even though they all provide the option "SPDIF passthrough" its just the mpeg stream thats forwarded by them.

Maybe worth installing the purevideo trial and see if it works.
