No audio in stream tv-server - client (1 Viewer)

I have a weird problem. Maybe somebody can help me?

I use mediaportal on serveral pc's. I have a dedicated tv-server (hauppauge DVR 500 dual analog tuner) with 3 clients.

There are no problems viewing "live"-tv and recordings. Both audio and video work fine. But when I connect to a STREAM there is no sound.

I have this problem on all my workstations. They have different audio cards. I have tried different codec's but are not able to fix the problem. (I have installed DScaler5008 and Pure video codec)


What is the differance between live-tv and a stream? Is it nessesary for the server to have the codec installed?

I Also have the same TV card and I also have audio problems.

1) On the singleseat setup: audio works, but sometimes it stops working. Restarting the the computer helps.
2) On Client setup1: audio works, have not tested much but seems to work.
3) On Client setup2: audio doesnot work at all, tried multiple codecs.
4) On recordings, audio mostly works not always. Prolly same fault as 1.

I hope this gets resolved
