I upgraded to DVB-C to watch Euronews in multiple languages. The BDA drivers work fine, however
on Euronews and CNN MediaPortal lists the available languages but there is no audio at all.
Watching a MediaPortal Euronews recording with VLC works (all languages available).

Did you try to switch the audio codec?
    When using ffshow:
Open ffdshow audio config then in the codecs page try switching the MP1, MP2 decoder from libmad to libavcodec.
    Maybe this helps.

Thanks for the advice - it works now :)
I changed the TV MPEG Audio Decoder to fddshow and
switched MP1, MP2 decoder from libmad to libavcodec.
    :D
