Hello,
Can somebody help me with this?
When I record a tv show and try to replay that I get no audio. Also in WMP no audio.
Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change a setting somewhere?
When watching TV I get both audio and video.

FYI
on the pctv card there is a audio cable connected to the cd/line in on the sound card.

krisse, if you run the mediaportaltesttool (in your MP directory) and capture the logs then post them here; we may be able to diagnose your problem.

    Cheers

How about if you do timeshifting of the TV from within MP -- do you still hear sound? Can you hear audio if you playback recorded TV using the software that came with the tuner card? Maybe you don't have the card hooked up correctly.

    Hello thx for the feedback

    here are the answers:

How about if you do timeshifting of the TV from within MP -- do you still hear sound? -> Yes
Can you hear audio if you playback recorded TV using the software that came with the tuner card? -> Yes
Maybe you don't have the card hooked up correctly. -> I think that this might be right as the tv card I'm using (MIRO PCTV) is having a audio out that is inserted in the CD audio in of the sound card.

Is there a way to set the source for the recording?

I also found that the video is slower than the audio. Audio comes first than video.

The card has no hardware encoder build in. So I used WinDVR to get it working.
