No capture cards - Using Tiny Twin (1 Viewer)

Hey folks. I'm a newbie so sorry if I've missed the point in a different post.

MP wont find any capture cards. I'm an Aussie so got hold of the tiny twin from digital now. I d/l the capture cards definition file and dumped it in the c:\team mediaportal\media portal directory. However when i go to configure a capture card MP says i have none. I've installed the program that came with the tuner and that runs fine however MP doesn't see the card.

Any tips would be great. have i put the capture card definition file in the wrong spot? do i need to edit some other file?

First: You should provide more info.

Anyway: If you try TVE3, all cards using BDA-drivers should work.

Use TVE3 as Spragleknas says. I have a Tiny Twin (and a Compro DVB-T300) and both are detected and work without further mucking around when using TVE3.

does your t300 scan ok?
Ive got a digital now quattoS card and a t300 and they worked together well until i went to MP RC1. Now a t300 causes MP to crach and when I do a channel scan it gives weird names for the channels(unknown etc).
do you use a special driver?

The T300 digital portion works fine, the analogue doesn't work at all in MP. I'm just using the latest drivers from the Comprousa site. Oh - one thing I did find with the T300 - it needs a very good antenna for it to pick up the signal well. The TinyTwin works much better than the T300 with a poor signal.
