Dear Forum,

I'm excited about getting MediaPortal running - mainly because it allows me to chose the video and audio codecs being used by the application - which I feel is my main problem with Windows 7 MC - especially since I used SPDIF to my receiver and Media Center has lousy support for video files using SPDIF.

So... I firstly had this problem with 1.1.0.. and I have the same problem with 1.2.0 - which uses 1.1.5.0 TV Server.
When I look at the TV Servers -> MediaCenter I can see my two dual DVB-T cards - listed as four tuners.
I have these two cards
- Hauppauge Nova DT Dual DVB-T Tuner + IR
- Winfast DTV 2000 DS (Dual)

No matter what I do I can't get the TV Server to find channels. I have used All Regions for Australia, Melbourne, Melbourne - South Yarra - all eventually find no stations and no radio - on all four tuners. I do get TV stations and tuners an ALL FOUR tuner cards in Media Center and other DVB tuner applications - TotalMedia, DVBTuner etc. So I feel like I must be doing something wrong. Given that the cards work in other applications on current drivers and reception - it's a software problem.

On occasion I notice the cards completely disappear from the TV Servers->MediaCenter-> list and I have to restart the TV Server for them to appear again.

Can I please get some assistance on how to diagnose why I get no channels when I do a scan?

Many thanks,:D

    Hi folks

I know this thread is a little old. For people reading in the future: the card is supported fine. You may need to use the default Windows drivers as reported -->here<-- if using Windows 7. If you have trouble with other operating systems then post logs - we can't help without them.
