Having gone back to engine 2 I thought I'd try engine 3 again. Seemed to install ok and could preview the channels in tv server setup but when tried to view them in MP couldn't turn tv on and tv guide lists lots of 'no channels'!
ps was using Blue Two and latest SVN.

Thanks

Your MediaPortal Version says 0.2.1.0 + latest svn... it should be 0.2.0.0 + latest svn to work properly. Try doing a clean install. After that's done, you have to go into the server configuration and add not only the tv card there but the channels as well. Make sure you have channels assigned to your tv card as well. I've had problems with the tv server+client setup, but I have managed to get channels to show up each time.

Never thought it mattered as 0.2.1.0 was a feature release? I've been using 3 for quite a while with it before but went back to 2 as had a few issues and now like I say it says no channels in the epg when trying 3 again. No worries though as will try a clean install back to 0.2.0.0, I suppose you can only apply so many svns!

I just tested this out on the very lastest dev build of 12247. MP can't seem to find any channels with the tv engine. I then removed the TV engine and the plugin and added my cards back to the old TV engine. I did a scan and found 10 channels and then stopped it. I then went back into mp and there were channels in the list. Also... when I go into Recorded tv... it does not crash with the logs above.

    Same for me.

The last SVN (Rev12246) and TVServer (Rev12247) doesn't work for me, but it worked with older TVengine and SVN.

    Same here.
    12218 of TVEngine3 works fine. 12231 not.

In the 12231 the channel scan find all my channels, but in the preview of the
tvserver i got a Messagebox: No Video/Audio. for some channels.

I than remove the tvserver and the tvplugin and installed the 12218.
    That version works for me.

Sorry i did not have the logs any more.

I just loaded on 12255 and that seems to have fixed the problem with the channels and the crash.

    Good work guys!
