I've tried setting it up and configuring correctly but I always get "no data available" when going to the guide, also when I try using that TV scheduler thing I always get an error report :( any ideas?

    Hi,

It would be useful to have the webepg.xml file in WebEPG directory, the webepg log file in the log directory and possibly any resulting TVguide.xml i the xmltv directory.

I have all of those in their directories still same thing! also when I try and run the grabber in the MP configuration/program guide under the scheduler it comes up with an error report man this is so frustrating isn't there an easier way to do this? or another easier EPG besides Zapit which was awesome but doesn't seem free anymore :/

    Hi there Game_dude.
    What petsa is asking is:
    - Start up MediaPortal configuration, and set the Log Level to 'Debug' (under the General section), and exit.
    - Re-do what you were trying to get to work
    - Upload a copy of your WebEPG/WebEPG.xml file into this thread
    - Upload a copy of the log/WebEPG.log file into this thread
    - Upload a copy of the xmltv/TVGuide.xml file into this thread.

Having the log might help him or others figure out what is going wrong for you.

Can't see any errors in your WebEPG.log

Have you tried running the WebEPG.exe file directly?
Can see that your TVGuide.xml is empty except for the 4-5 channels that you've got configured.

    Hi,

I agree with GadgetMan, run webepg.exe stand-alone and check the log-files.

The data in the uploaded webepg.log file looks more like the output from webepgconfig than from webepg.exe itself. I do not use webepgConfig so myself I'm not sure about this though... Perhaps someone else can confirm?

Having just put an enhancement into WebEPG-conf, I know that the error messages all have "WebEPG Config:" in the debugs..

I can check the running of WebEPG myself now, but I'm willing to bet it logs the same LogType, but with "WebEPG" prefixed msgs.

    Edit: Confirmed

If it's an apartment block, it's quite likely that the LNB is something exotic that handles Sky and others. Try a different LNB frequency (and possibly the low and high frequency settings. I know little of such things, but apparently Sky is often 10750. Give it a try. Freeview is horizontally polarised.

It is present, but not with that name. It is called Scheduler, viz: Interesting. I had never noticed that when the "command" is "ACTION", the "cmdproperty" is the actual window id, but it makes sense that it is. Try this for yourself. First backup your working profile for the remote, then in the "Mapping" panel make a change to...
