No DD on AVI files (1 Viewer)

Sound Card: Realtek AC97

I have a problem playing AVI files in Dolby Digital with MP. It doesnt work in WMP 10 neither.

If I play them in VLC it works perfect!

Dolby Digital not supported by WMP, which is used to play video in MediaPortal.

So until a internal player is one day integrated, stuck with what WMP can or cannot do.

Not the one I wanted but hey, lets hope MP will come with an embeded player soon then

Take a look at this http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303&package_id=84797

It will let you use your mpeg2 audio codec to pass/decode the DD/DTS material. It needs manual registration though (open with.... select regsvr32.exe).
