No DTS/DD Audio (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Not sure whether this issue relates to hardware or just codec...

I have the nvidia g210 graphic card..

it is connected to the av receiver via hdmi.. the av receiver is connected to the projector via hdmi as well and the speakers are connected to the av receiver.

previously i had an issue when the audio was not transmitted via hdmi.. somehow i managed to make it work..

now..i can here the sound when i log in to windows. It is shown in the receiver that it is receiving PCM..

however, when i play a mkv file which has DTS/DD...there is no sound that comes out..

Sounds like a codec problem. Open MP, play the file, exit MP, go to MP Config, navigate to the log files. Post the MediaPortal log file. I'll take a look and see what it might be.

Check SPDIF/HDMI passthrough in your Audio Codec.
