No DVB EPG after upgrade (1.0.1 and 1.0.2) (1 Viewer)

I lost my EPG data when I updated my system to 1.0.1 and 1.0.2 level. I check my settings and those are same what I had in 1.0.0 level. I selected all channels what I have tuned on from EPG settings and also I have timeout value 120min and I enabled epg grapping when timeshifting is on.

EPG log is pretty much useless for me, basically it says that no channels were found:

Any idea? I tested this DVB epg on other tuners (dvbViewer, Totalmedia etc) and those are fine.

Because this dvb grapping didn't work I tested webepg...I got this error ( I didn't have much time to investigate this one but I have faulty configuration)

Has anyone else seen this behavior? (at least I haven't seen anyone else to report this issue.) Is it possible that you have installed Vista TV pack?

I searched issues about this EPG. There seems to be quite a lot of issues but everybody got it works somehow (no clear reason) but in my case...it stays on down for some reason =(

Nope.
Grabbing EPG from dvb-s, -s and -t is still working flawlessly here.

My guess is that the settings are not right for some reason.
So i would suggest to dissable all channels from EPG grabbing and then enable them again.

Or just do a clean installation, re-scan and reconfigure EPG grabbing.

Vista TV-pack? If you mean Windows Media Center...yes I have it on my Vista but I haven't used it at all (doesn't work together with my dvb-2s card)

Vista TV-Pack is an additional download.
Some OEMs bundle it with their PC's as well.

If I remember correctly I have installed some TV packages to Vista (long time ago) How I can check it if I have it?

I have tested these options:

- clean 1.0.0 installation , channel scan (EPG works)
- update to 1.0.1 (no epg) I see old epg info but it's not updated anymore...see error above

- clean install to 1.0.2 and channel scan (no epg and also I can't change channels (PMT error)


I will test today about this clean/fresh install to 1.0.1 level and scan all my channels again...

Complete logs of that would be useful.
Means all logs from TV-Server zipped.

I will re-install 1.0.2 from scratch, put it to debug mode, scan my channels and try to switch those few times and send all logs here. ( I really need to build test server where I can do these test without reserving our Television whole day/night =)

Debug logging is a setting on the frontend side (MediaPortal). it does not apply to the TV-Server where everything is always logged.

so you do not need to touch the frontend at all. all can be done inside "TV-Server Configuration".

1. scan for TV-Channels
2. setup dvb-epg
3. "refresh EPG" inside manaul control to try an gra EPG (let TV-Server alone for at least 30 minutes)
4. then try tuning channels inside manual control until you encounter the error.

after that go to the logs folder and zip it.

This issue seems to be somehow fixed. Un-fortunately I don't have any clue how this happened =) I have re-installed/tested different scenarios etc. several times and yesterday when I did it again fresh install to 1.0.1 level, EPG started to work. It grapping only one program ahead (few hours) but it works somehow atleast...

Quite annoying, I really would like to know how this issue was solved...
